It is the story about Sergio Garcia who immigrated illegally at 17 months old. Even though it was not his idea to immigrate, but he is the person who is illegally stay in the USA. As you know, people who illegally get into other countries sometimes might be dangerous. They don’t have their ID, so government or police can’t catch them even though they are criminal.
The government in the US shouldn’t have given permission Sergio Garcia who immigrated illegally at 17months old. He couldn’t realize what he did at that time, but he should have realized what he’s done when he became older. Unfortunately, he kept staying illegally. I can’t get it why he is accepted, even if we know that he isn’t dangerous because he’s been here illegally. The US should kick him out. There are many people who try to immigrate illegally and they brings drugs , crime and something like that.
It is the story about Sergio Garcia Who is in America illegally. He graduated from law school. Can he is allowed Practice law? In my opinion, he can practice law. Because it makes more illegal immigrant. I heard It has been problem for a long time in America. In my country, There are also a lot of illegal immigrant. Most of them usually make a lot of trouble. They commit crimes. Absolutely He is a good evidence all of them don’t make a problem. But If He is permitted to practice law, It will be a problem.
That is the reason why I disagree He is forbidden to practice law.
Even though I feel some sympathy for this unfortunate young man, I think he should not be able to go to the bar as an attorney in the United States. Because, his status in America is not even legal. Furthermore I definitely believe that it does sound ridiculous if an illegal figure teaches or insists public not to commit unlawful crimes.
For this story/video to give an opinion, is not easy!
When I heard the story about Sergio Garcia 36years old, and that he lives since he is a teenager in the USA and he steel didn’t get a green card, I feel sad for him! Because they are many other People in the USA with the same history like Sergio!
I can`t understand why the Government said 20 years No to the green card! In my opinion is Sergio a good Student and he become a Lawyer, and to get this, he had to study very hard and he doesn’t look like an criminal guy. I mean he went to school he had many years a typical American live, so why not!
The Government had to give a very hard decision, because it`s not just Sergio, all the other People without a green card, will say, why does he get one and we don’t!
Finally it`s very hard to say, who can have a green card and who does not.
I’m enraptured.
It is a fact that he immigrated illegally, and it is a crime. He should pay off his sin. However, I think we should not judge someone by his past. Past is only past. California government should leave the fault of past in the past, and just judge him as who he is. He have already graduated Cal northern school of law. Therefore, my advice for government is ‘Punish the former fault that he immigrated illegally’ and ‘Don’t interrupt what he do now’.
The video and article show that one man who is in US illegally, name is Sergio Garcia, receive admission to a state bar association. And it is very controversial because federal law says undocumented immigrants are denied professional licenses. But California governor, Jerry Brown, allow Sergio to get licenses. So now California becomes the first state to allow an illegal immigrant to get licenses.
I think this controversy is very interesting thing. Because Sergio case is kind of breaking the law. And now federal law is still prohibiting immigrants to get professional licenses. In my opinion, Sergio case is very good thing but it break the law. Law is very important things to maintain our society. If many exceptions occur in the law, I think law loses the power and also very hard to maintain society.
So I think California government had better not allow Sergio to practice law right now. They have a time and discuss how Sergio can practice law legally as soon as possible. Up to 2019 is too late. So if California government wants to give a chance to practice law to Sergio, They ought to think about how we can give a green card to Sergio ASAP illegally. Once Sergio has a green card, He practices the law legally.
I have a mistake.
“They ought to think about how we can give a green card to Sergio ASAP illegally.”
illegally -> legally
Sorry.
For this controversy I choose neutral.I think he can be allowed topractice law, although he didn’t have a green card and identity. But he had already graduated from university of law, he has the ability to survive.Like he said “absolutely no law that says that I can’t create my own job and open my own company”.He isn’t a dangerous person and he won become the burden of the United States.so why not?
