5 Tips to Improve English Fluency from an English Learner
Every week I provide English lessons and some of my favorite tips and recommendations for building your English skills. I am confident in my advice, because not only am I an English teacher, I have also learned (two) languages, so I know what works and what doesn’t. However, I haven’t learned English as a second language, so today I wanted to give you expert tips from a real English learner who has reached English fluency and has been successfully using English in his professional career for over 8 years. Today, you’ll learn Paulo’s top 5 tips to improve English fluency, and find out the ways to take your skills to the next level!
So who is Paulo?
He’s a Brazilian, whose first language is Portuguese. However, as I mentioned, he’s been working and living in English speaking countries since 2008. Before moving abroad, he studied English at home, in Brazil, and was able to build enough skills to move confidently.
So how did he learn and improve his English while in Brazil?
What self-study techniques did he use to learn English alone?
What does he recommend other learners do to reach the same level of fluency?
Watch this week’s 5 Minute English video, and listen to our interview to find out!
